What is our mission?
Visionz is excited to share with prospective donors and sponsors our plans for the development and launch of the Visionz Training Program in Detroit, MI. We chose Detroit for the launch of our program because so many of the youth in that city can be categorized as, what in recent years been described in terms such as in crisis, at-risk, marginal and endangered, especially black males.
We are a nonprofit organization with the purpose of providing youth, such as those described above, with the work force and life skills training and support to give them the critical skills they will need to avoid the hardships they otherwise will face. We want to develop and enhance youth's core competencies of knowledge and personal attributes to enable them to be successful in the 21st century.
Sponsor our ePortal and App
With the ambitious goal of helping a legion of people prepare for the workforce, balance a budget, or learn how to thrive in the community, we need to build a robust ePortal and app to make learning both interesting and effective. While we are funding much of the project on our own, we welcome you to become a sponsor and help us see the project to completion.
As a sponsor, you'll not only be recognized for your generosity, you'll be helping hundreds - even thousands - of people develop the critical life skills needed to be successful in life. Whether you run a large company or a small business, the power of your support cannot be underestimated.

Why Support the Visionz Project?
What does it take to build an effective curriculum for at-risk youth? How much time and effort does it take to build a learning plan that delivers lifelong knowledge for Detroit's generation of young people? Only hard work, time and the support of community partners such the Detroit Independent School District, alternative schools, churches, community development groups and job training centers can answer these questions.
Our work on behalf of the youth of Detroit has begun and we need your help! Our team has devoted hours of time, wisdom, and personal resources to craft a curriculum of comprehensive workforce preparation, employability and life skills training to address Detroit youth's long term education and employment opportunities.
We are issuing a call to action on behalf of the youth of Detroit by asking public, private and non-profit Detroit stakeholders to collaborate with Visionz to provide the resources and support required to provide the long term education and job opportunities these young people deserve.
We will also select a core group of committed community representatives to serve on our Youth/Community Advisory Board which will serve as a forum for the discussion of ideas, innovations and strategies for improving the education and employment opportunities for the youth of Detroit.
We believe your business or foundation will make an excellent partner in helping us standup for the education and economic empowerment of the youth of Detroit. Your business will not only increased brand awareness and reach new customers, it will build a strong relationship with the community.
